Texas State Solo and Ensemble Contest (TSSEC)

What:  Texas State Solo & Ensemble Competition – 5A & 6A Schools
Where:  University of Texas Campus - Austin, Texas 
When:  Saturday May 26th (FYI Seniors - Baccalaureate is Sunday, May 27th)
Who:  Anyone who received a ONE rating on a class ONE solo/ensemble

It is the choice of each student whether or not they wish to participate in this competition.  The student will be responsible for all costs of the trip, which includes transportation, meals, and lodging.  The Choral Department will cover the cost of the $20.00 entry fee and accompanist fee.  All information regarding judges and performance times will be given to the students; however it is the parents and students responsibility to make sure they arrive in Austin at the correct location on time.  An accompanist will be arranged in advance.  But it is again the student’s responsibility to arrange to rehearse with and meet the accompanist in Austin.

Timeline:
Wednesday, February 28th - Interest letter is DUE! (Hard deadline)
